In todays challenging Real Estate market, your choice of Real Estate Professional does matter!

For people who choose to list and sell with me, I took advantage of extra training offered to be able to load listings directly onto the MLS system. Why does this matter and how does this  benefit you?  When I list your home, within an hour or two your home can be on the MLS system, immediate exposure to hundreds or thousands of buyers. The way it's usually done?. A home is listed, and our rules state that within 2 business days the listing has to be submitted to the Edmonton Real Estate Board. As an example, you list your home on Monday and your Realtor has to submit the listing  by Wednesday. Say the listing gets there late in the day, too late to load onto the MLS system. So now your home hits the mls system sometime on Thursday. Now to be fair your Realtor may have been telling people about your home, potential buyers, maybe also the Realtors in his/her office. You might even get an offer between Monday and Thursday.

Now ask yourself, would you rather have your home exposed immediately to hundreds or thousands of buyers and several thousand Realtors, or have just a few people know about it for several days. In which scenario do you think you increase your chances of getting top dollar and have it happen reasonably fast? Now in the above scenario, imagine you've listed your home on a Thursday, the paperwork has till Monday to get to the Real Estate Board. To be clear, the scenario outlined is completely  within our rules and regulations, I just happen to think that my way of doing it is more beneficial to you.
